Turn Sliding French Patio Doors
Do you hate it plain sliding glass patio door, but can not afford to replace it with a set of sliding French patio doors luxury? This is a very inexpensive way to take a standard glass sliding door or window and turn it into a door French chic. This project was originally made on a sliding glass door to the patio plain vinyl, but the same process can be done to the windows as shown in the attached pictures.
Measure the height and width of the sliding French patio doors and divide the area in a grid with squares of equal size. Put pencil marks on the door frame reference. Take the electrical tape (selecting the color that matches your frame) and stretch it tight through the glass sheet, turning the ends in line with the marks you made on your door frame. Press the length of tape to glass. Cut the ribbon and carefully tuck the ends against the door frame.
Repeat for each row of the grid. For sliding French patio doors, you may need a second person to hold one end of the ribbon to the top of the door while stretching to the bottom of the door. Meta clearly everything ends and cut with an exact a knife if necessary.
